About us

What we do

We provide services for individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Community Based Day Services are coordinated at our centers in Sevierville, Maryville and Newport. Programs strive to provide support to help those we serve discover their communities, open them up to new possibilities, and develop relationships all the while increasing their skills for independence including life skills, learning to make personal choice and how to be active members of the community.

Many of our individuals volunteer their time at Empower Cocke County and Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries making a difference where they live.

Employment First Agency

In June of 2013 Governor Bill Haslam designated Tennessee as an Employment First State. We provide job development, teach job skills, and set up on the job supports the placement with Employment Specialists to ensure retention. This service provides the opportunity of IDD individuals to fulfill their desire for employment and provides a tax break to the business that hire them.

Supported Living

The supported living service provides housing accommodations, 24-hour awake staff and transportation to individuals living in them. Individuals gain experience and independence in making personal choices regarding their home including decorating, meal menus, clothing, and household tasks. The goal for these individuals is to be as independent as possible, while having someone there to assist them as needed. Community activities are personalized to the individual’s interests and and desires.
